Who is EGGcraft? Do they work in collaboration with watch brands?


EGGcraft Limited is an independent, family owned company founded by two artists who are deeply committed to craftsmanship, precision, and detail.

We are not affiliated with Rolex S.A., OMEGA, or any other watch manufacturers, nor are we official distributors or licensed partners of these brands. All our watches are vintage, second-hand pieces and are not guaranteed by the original brands.

We offer luxury watch customisation upon customer request, and these services are provided solely for personal, private use. Each creation is entirely one of a kind and made only once our work is never mass-produced. Manufacturer warranties are void; only EGGcraft’s warranty covers our custom work.


How much does it cost to paint a custom dial?


Our pricing depends on the complexity of the design:

Each price includes:

  • Free consultation
  • Digital mockup for your approval
  • Final hand-painted dial
  • Free shipping (Royal Mail in UK / DHL Express internationally)

The first payment is 30% of the total cost. At this stage, we provide you with a digital version of the design that will be applied to your watch. If you approve the design, you proceed with the second payment, and we hand-paint the exact design onto the watch dial.

Are your watches original?


Yes, all our watches feature original cases, bracelets, dials, hands, and movements.
However, due to the vintage nature of these timepieces, some internal components such as gears within the movement may have been restored or replaced over time to ensure proper functionality. Similarly, the crystal may have been restored or replaced during the watch’s lifetime.
Each piece is carefully inspected and serviced to maintain both its authenticity and performance.


Why are the brands in the designed watches hidden?


We are not officially affiliated with the manufacturers of these watches. For legal reasons, we do not alter brand logos, and we choose to blur them in order to emphasise that our designs are purely artistic interpretations. This approach allows us to respect the original brands while highlighting the originality and craftsmanship of our own work.


Are your designs mass-produced?


Not at all. Every design is made only once and entirely by hand. We do not mass-produce any items, which makes each piece truly unique.


Can I share my own design idea?


Absolutely! Whether it’s a scene from your imagination, a car you love, a personal memory, or a meaningful symbol — share it with us and we’ll turn it into a piece of art you can wear every day.


How long does it take to process my order?


The first stage takes one week, and the entire process takes approximately one and a half months. Rest assured, your piece will be unique and absolutely beautiful. Please note that this timeline is approximate durations may vary depending on our current workload.


Do you sell only dials or custom-designed watch dials separately?


No, we do not sell dials or custom-painted dials on their own. However, if you’re looking for a specific model, feel free to share the details with us — we’d be happy to help with a market search on your behalf.


Can I send you my own watch?


Yes, you are welcome to send us your own vintage watch or dial for a custom design. Please contact us first to discuss the process and requirements.


Custom duties, tax and vat Information


When ordering from EGGcraft custom watches within the UK, the prices on eggcraft.co.uk include shipping cost, VAT and all applicable taxes as per UK legislation. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. If you send only your watch dial, you will avoid additional customs fees.


Can I get a refund on customs duties if I return my order?


Yes, in many countries this is possible. If you paid import duties and/or VAT when receiving your item and later decide to return it, you may apply for a refund through your local customs authority. This process is the customer’s responsibility and varies by country.

You will typically need the following documents:

  • credit note (refund invoice) from us
  • Proof of return shipment, such as a tracking receipt
  • payment refund confirmation, if applicable

When returning the item, we recommend marking the package as “Returned Goods” and, if possible, declaring a low value to avoid additional import charges.

Are store pickup or local delivery options available?


While we don’t have a physical store at the moment, all of our designs are lovingly crafted from our home studio. Each piece is created with care and passion, and we ship them directly to you from this special space.


What is your returns and cancellation policy for custom orders?


If your watch includes a custom hand-painted dial, we’re unfortunately unable to accept returns or offer refunds. Each piece is made specifically for you, and we always send a digital design for approval before painting, followed by final photos before shipping.

If you’d like to cancel or make changes, please contact us before the item has been shipped. Once dispatched, changes or cancellations are no longer possible.

If you cancel your order before shipping, please note that the 30% payment is non-refundable, as it covers the time, effort, and preparation already involved. Also, If you have purchased a watch from our website and requested a custom painting on its original dial, please note that the cost of the dial is also non-refundable.


How durable is the paint on the dial?


We trust that your vintage watches will be well cared for, and we are proud to share that the paint applied to the dial is crafted to endure for years to come. With proper care, it will remain in excellent condition, preserving its beauty for future generations.


How can I track my order?


After your order is shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to track your package. You can either click the link or go to the carrier’s website and enter the tracking number to check the real-time status of your delivery.


Can I modify or cancel my order after it has been placed?


If you need to change or cancel your order, please reach out to us. You can reply to your order confirmation email, explore contact options on our Contact page, or email us directly at info@eggcraft.co.uk We’ll do our best to assist you, depending on the status of your order and whether it has already been processed and shipped.


Order issues and resolutions


If you receive an incorrect or defective item, or encounter any other issues with your order, please contact us promptly using any method listed on our Contact page. Provide your order number and details of the problem, and we will resolve the issue swiftly to ensure you receive the correct item or a replacement.


What should I do if my payment is declined?
  • Double-check that all your payment details—such as the card number, expiration date, and security code—are entered correctly.
  • Confirm that your billing address matches the one linked to your payment method.
  • Ensure that your account has enough funds to cover the transaction.
  • Reach out to your bank or payment provider to make sure there are no restrictions or holds on your account that could be blocking the payment.

What shipping carriers do you use and how long does shipping take?


UK Buyers:

Shipments to UK addresses will be sent Free of charge via Royal Mail Special Delivery (1 working day).

International Buyers:

Will be sent Free of charge via DHL Express (up to 1 week)


What if my package is lost or damaged?


If your package is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact us right away through our Contact page. We will collaborate with the shipping carrier to investigate and, if needed, arrange for a replacement or refund.
We are committed to resolving shipping issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring your satisfaction and minimizing any inconvenience.


What is your return and refund policy?


Our refund and returns policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. Mor information please click refund returns policy


Who pays for return shipping and how long do refunds take?


We cover the cost of return shipping by providing a prepaid shipping label, ensuring a hassle-free process at no extra cost to you. Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days, but the exact timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.


Do you offer a warranty?


Yes. All our custom work comes with a 1-year EGGcraft Ltd warranty. Please note that this covers only the work we have done — such as hand-painted dials. and not the original movement or parts of the vintage watch. Since these watches are vintage, they do not come with manufacturer warranties, and we recommend handling them with extra care. Discoloration, fading, or deterioration caused by sun exposure or high temperatures is not covered under warranty.

In addition, if your timepiece is priced at £2,000 or above, it is covered by a 1-year warranty for functional defects, excluding water damage or misuse.

To keep your watch in the best possible condition, please avoid water exposure, keep it clean, and remember that, like all mechanical watches, it requires regular maintenance. We recommend a professional service every two years for long-term performance.


Is it safe to enter my payment details on your website?
